Enjoyed my lunch there the other day. Very elegant space. Service was top notch. Sushi was great. Sushi rice was spot on which is an issue for subpar sushi restaurants. Tempura was light and crispy. Lunch specials are a great deal. $21 for 5 nigiri and spicy tuna roll. I want to come back for their Happy Hour.
Food here is good and the presentation is top-notch. I know fried rolls are like this “thing” but the fried roll here is really well balanced and enjoyable. 5 out of 5.
Pasta & Bluefin with this view ☔️🤍 Romanticizing my life on a rainy weekend afternoon. P/s: Definitely try their hot dishes too, really satisfying! I got the duck one and loved it. Pasta & bluefin are already in my belly, so… no pictures
Absolutely loved this place! 🍣 Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The sushi quality was excellent, and you could really taste the freshness of the fish. The service was great too friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We’ve tried a lot of sushi places, and this one definitely stood out for their Great food, and an overall wonderful service. We’ll absolutely be back! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My daughter and I first came here for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We had bento boxes which were tasty. My daughter’s boyfriend came in town so we decided to dine here on a Friday evening. We ordered several different dishes including teppanyaki, sashimi, and mussels. Everything was fresh and delicious! Cool vibe and our waitress was attentive. Will be back for sure!
I have been to Musashi several times, but this was my first visit with their new menu out! They have added temaki in addition to new maki and hot dishes and an exciting new crispy rice appetizer. The only disappointment is that I cannot eat more in one visit. This time, I tried their negitoro temaki, and of course I knew it would be wonderful because I have tried the negitoro roll that comes with one of their chef samplers. It was amazing!! I also tried their hikari roll - it was a pleasure to see on the menu because I’m a huge fan of hamachi, and even more of a pleasure to eat. I don’t even typically like maki - I’m more of a nigiri purist - and this was beautifully crafted. Their Hokkaido scallop crudo was to die for as well. It was described by staff to be reminiscent of tom kha and I have to agree; if you are a Thai food fan as well as a Japanese cuisine lover, I strongly recommend this dish. The scallops were fresh and flavorful with the perfect texture. I cannot recommend their Wagyu nigiri enough. It’s topped with garlic crisp that perfectly compliments the beef flavor, and the scoring on the Wagyu helps deliver all of the flavor that Musashi’s chefs imbue into their nigiri (everything from that portion of the menu is very well seasoned, NOT just a piece of fish served on a ball of rice). In addition I would recommend the sake flight; I would not have gone for it without the manager, Ari’s, thoughtful suggestion. It’s a very thoughtfully curated flight, and even I, someone who does not typically enjoy sake, have had my mind changed about sake. The food at Musashi is amazing, but what really makes it is the service. I have felt so happy here from the moment I first stepped through the doors. Everyone on staff is incredibly friendly and they always give amazing recommendations. I have never felt I had to wait long for my food - in fact, the longest time I have spent in the restaurant is just over two hours, and I always order a LOT of dishes separate from one another. The fact that it takes so little time to receive such amazing quality dishes is so impressive. This is getting lengthy, but the bottom line is that you need to visit Musashi. I would expect to pay at least double the amount for the same level of quality and attention anywhere else in DFW.
Such an incredible sushi place, the quality is superb. The prices are very affordable, especially with the happy hour prices, and the staff is incredibly sweet and attentive. Every order is a work of art and incredibly delicious. The nigiri and A5 Miyazaki Wagyu are incredible, it's a great place to feel like a regular at. Ari, Minji and Aidan served us and they were all incredibly nice and welcoming. A+ service and food!
